i initially imagined these two in a high school au where meenah is forcibly transferred to john’s school base on terrible conduct and john is that goofy likable guy who gets slated as her tutor. then for some reason the school punkasses target john and he’s getting his ass handed to him because 8 versus 1 oh god. then here comes meenah and she pretty much knocks everyone out like what was the right hook even because this goob reminds her of the only pal she had back at home. also meenah looks like the type to punch someone in the arm as a form of saying hello.

i totally didn’t think about this during class. nope.
